Microwave S’mores
Without a campfire every night, I learned to make s’mores indoors. We had a glass-top stove, so roasting over a burner wasn’t an option. That’s when I tried the microwave — it takes only about 5 seconds for a marshmallow to puff up from solid to perfectly toasted inside. Microwave s’mores are a fast, convenient after-dinner treat. You can also prepare s’mores in the oven if you prefer.

Chocolate, cookie, toasted coconut, and caramel — all the flavors of Samoas cookies transformed into a gooey s’more. If you love these, try the Samoas Rice Krispies Treats for another indulgent twist.
Samoas S’mores Ingredients
- Milk chocolate bars (Hershey-style)
- Graham cracker squares
- Toasted coconut marshmallows (such as Jet-Puffed Toasted Coconut)
- Caramel bits (found in the baking aisle)
Directions
1. Start with a graham cracker square.
2. Place about 1/4 of a milk chocolate bar on the graham cracker and sprinkle on a few caramel bits.
3. Add a jumbo toasted coconut marshmallow on top of the chocolate and caramel.
4. Microwave for about 5 seconds, or until the marshmallow begins to puff up. Timing may vary by microwave — watch closely so it doesn’t overexpand.
