168 Hours in iPhone Photos: A Week of Moments Captured

This week’s post is a little late and missing some photos — a last-minute trip to Ohio for a funeral threw our schedule off. The kids enjoyed seeing their cousins after a long separation, and meeting my three new baby nephews was a bright spot. The drive there and back was difficult, especially during a snowstorm. E drove for 12.5 hours straight because I was too nauseous to drive in the morning and too nervous about the weather in the afternoon. I’m grateful the Navy granted him emergency leave so we could all say goodbye to Grandma Davis in person.

Sunday:

New baby props for a newborn shoot

An abandoned mill I’d love to photograph for real

I call this: Pregnancy Cravings

Monday:

Helping me clean her room

Old dog, three-year-old girl

Both kids passed out at 5 pm. No idea what happened.

Tuesday:

Not rain nor snow nor sleet shall keep these gingers from waiting for the bus

Thanks to friends and a few too many trips to Wendy’s, we have a great collection of these. Evan made an Air Force.

Bedtime for gingers

Wednesday:

Nor fog. I forgot to mention fog before.

Presents to myself, courtesy of a MinuteClinic Christmas card. Love them. (That mascara is amazing — thanks, Laura.)

Second swim lesson: GOOGLES

Thursday:

V. excited for school

Show off.

Friday:

Endless driving.

Apple face

Saturday:

Enjoying some “cold chocolate” after sledding

Hand & Foot

The Marble Game. We tried to fit as much Midwest into our visit as possible.

I can’t believe it’s already almost Wednesday. We’re being hit with a lot of snow right now, and I doubt school will be open tomorrow. I have an OB appointment scheduled and the kids were supposed to have swim lessons, but those plans are uncertain. I don’t mind an extra day to recover from traveling, though I suspect nothing useful like unpacking or cleaning will get done — probably just napping.
