Authentic Bajan Seasoning Mix: Recipe & How to Use It

Bajan Seasoning is a vibrant, flavorful blend commonly used in traditional Barbadian dishes. Simple to prepare and packed with fresh ingredients, this seasoning keeps well in the refrigerator for up to a couple of weeks.

Every household often has its own variation, and this version is flexible—feel free to adjust ingredients to suit your taste.

For best results, make the seasoning a few days before you plan to use it so the flavors can meld. It delivers heat, tang, and herbal depth—excellent on Bajan chicken and other grilled or roasted dishes.
